Provide operational geotechnical support across multiple underground and open pit operations utilising a combination of mechanical and handheld mining techniques. The geotechnical engineer is a shared resource that services a range of specialised requirements for each mine and reports to each sites specific mining and technical team. The geotechnical requirements include site support, routine inspections, stope optimisation, portal designs, mapping and development of geotechnical models, review of GCMP and support standards, design of instrumentation, and the commissioning of new mines and the re-commissioning of old mines.
